So I'm in Exeter, and I'm wondering where I can find Dr. Bonners. I haven't even found sodium bicarb yet.. I looked in Sainsbury's local and they only had uber small containers that were pricey. Any help in this would be awesome. Cheers!
I'm hoping to avoid that if possible. If I can even find some sodium bicarb at a cheap rate that'll get me by
i know you said you dont want to buy online but i got mine here http://www.theremustbeabetterway.co.uk/acatalog/Organic_SLS_and_Paraben_Free_Liquid_Soap.html you can pay by cheque or postal order here, if thas a problem
Get a job in a dialysis center and steal the medical grade bicarb. Alternatively try the Co-Op they tend to be better for baking and thus may sell larger containers, although they are also expensive. Failing that you'll need to find a cash and carry that does catering stuff, if you were in brum this wouldn't be a problem, but as you are living in luddite county all I can do is wish you luck. As for bronners there is a shop near me that sells it retail, but it's the only time I've ever seen it, and it would be cheaper to order it online anyway.
I don't think you'll find bronner's in Exeter, I never have. You can order it from this online store, they are very quick with delivery. http://www.dreadworx.co.uk/ You can buy bicarb from sainsburys. I don't know about the one in town, I would have thought so though. The one I used to buy was this one: It is with the flour and baking for cakes section, at least in the store in Alphington, and costs about 75 pence I think. *Edit, sorry didn't see you wanted to avoid odering online, but if you want bronner's I don't think you have a choice.
I should add (if you haven't found them yet), there are two sainsbury's in the centre. A newer one at the top of town in Sidwell St. and one in the Guildhall. The one in the Guildhall is bigger I think, but still isn't great and not as good as the two that are out of the town centre (Alphington or Pinhoe). Or of course there's Tescos which is usually cheaper.
do uk people not bake? is there no such thing as the glorious arm & hammer brand? i guess being american can come in handy!
Yep, maybe I'm just being bitchy and cheap, but I want my big boxes of hella cheap baking soda! hehehe. I may just roll with using pure water for a while and see if my hair explodes.
ive never seen arm&hammer baking soda here tbh.. but i use their toothpaste =D umm. somerfield & asda are quite cheapy places to get stuff =] i get that blue tub of bicarb for about 68p
Yea, that's always the worst... I can't tell you how many bathrooms I've had to re-build after water induced dreadsplosions
me too!! I use normal shampoo and I wash my hair at pretty normal intervals (2-3 times a week) I don't see why locked hair would be washed any differently than unlocked hair vv
