has anyone ever used this method to start their dreads? I had mine re-done by this cool ass african lady and she said it was the best way for my short hair. my first attempt was crap. the guy just waxed and twisted, and 4 days later it started coming out. any one have some input?

If it’s the method I’m thinking of, it’s a very popular one in South Africa. There are ‘salons’ everywhere that do this method with short hair. Of course Rasta and natural mystic people don’t go for it … but it's popular with loads of people in general A bro of mine in South Africa, with standard wavy-straight white-boy hair like mine, had this method done. His hair was very short; maybe like2 inches and he left the weave in for about 3 months. When he removed it, his locks were cool ... until the first wash and everything fell apart. His view was that the technique doesn't work for his kind of hair, but would for traditionally 'Afro' hair. I'm really sure it will work for you ... hmm, that’s if it's the same method I'm thinking of. Another Bro I know in London, who has 'Afro' hair ... and who had a big 'fro' for a while also has had something similar done ... but I have a feeling his hair is too long again … but who knows maybe it will work just as well.

well, i told you how to post them from photobucket. it take little effort and isn't an outrageous request.
Just have the pictures on your desktop, head to any image uploading site like www.TinyPic.com - Click 'Browse' and find your photo. Click OK. Then there's a few lines of text you'll see, get the one that says 'IMG]www.tinypic.blahblahblah[IMG' - Post that here. Do it for the others aswell. I'd love to see this mature. I've always seen people get them like, about a half inch worm thing, and they look bald and stupid. But yours are bigger and noticeable which is cool.
