a new read?

i have been looking for something to read, but i can't find anything to strike my fancy in the library. i usually like fantasy (but not to sci-fi) or something humorous....biographies are good too. Any suggestions?

 

I really recommend Cameron Pierce's Shark Hunting in Paradise Garden. It's a very cool book, funny and strange.

 

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is pretty funny but pretty sci fi too

 

I read the Storm Caller series recently, that's a pretty good fantasy selection.

Also, there's the great Terry Pratchett of course. Discworld books are usually my favourite book. Funny, and clever.
