hey all, I have been growing a nice lil plant of some white widow. I planted it on memorial day and it is has been budding pretty nice. I am growing it in my backyard ( I know not advisable but i have a script, so no worries of getting busted). But my neighbor started leaving his backyard light on and my plant has been making a severe DECREASE in trichomes. Last week my bud was nice and frosty and now not so much. The buds are about 2-3 weeks away from being done. I now am putting it in a dark shed at night, and am giving it a 8 light 16 dark to help it get into a budding phase if hat reverted to veg. My question is can a litlle light from over 50 feet away make it go into veg. and will the 8/16 help or make it go hermie? I would really like to hear Rangerdanger's opinion on this. Thanks
Flowering is when the light schedule is at 12/12. I know some people give their plants 24 hours of darkness before they switch to 12/12 to speed up flowering. It's probably too late for advice now but I would just make sure they are at 12/12. You could try and give them 24 hours of darkness and then go to 12/12 to see if that helps jump-start them back to flowering if they did go vegetative. Either way the 8/16 idea sounded bad to me.
