i was wondering what would be good for super dry skin. during the winter, my skin gets really dry and flaky in certain spots, like on my back near my armpits, and on my thighs. i have tried so many different things, but i cannot find anything helps heal it. any suggestions?

Topical moisturizers aside, you might consider some herbs to improve your skin from the inside. From experience I recommend milk thistle. It's been pretty great for my skin and I'm confident that it could help yours. It works by detoxifying the liver, and when your liver is working at its greatest potential it improves skin moisture and tone greatly.

I know these aren't scientific links but from my experience they're true. And Milk thistle is actually extensively studied and is used hospitals to product the liver from the drugs they use.

I recommend just getting tablets or a tincture from the store rather than messing with raw herbs. Just make sure it's certified organic.

I use coco butter, or shea butter for my dry skin. If all else fails, I use a milk and honey remedy.

I suggest you Drink a lot of water, I noticed a change in my skins production of oils that helped the dryness but not too much. Try using just plain water, also check to make sure your water doesn't have salt or to much chlorine. That makes your skin a dry magnet. I hope it all works out.Shampoo for hair loss
