Curly Dreads

    So it's best to let them just do their own thing then?

    Yeah pretty much, just every so often grab a dread with one hand, and take your other hand and press down on the surrounding dreads, and pull the single dread, then twist it in a circle both ways twice, so the roots don't lock together. Do it for all of them, which is what I do every few days

    Doesn't sound that hard. Should I just rip the hair that connects two dreads if they are starting to connect at the bottom?

    Yup. Sometimes it'll be a few hairs in one small group, so it'll look odd when it gets pulled out for a few days if it doesn't get sucked back up by the original one, atleast a little.

    I have about 5 group strands of straight hair from the roots of two to three dreads, because they would go into another, it's no real big deal though, just don't mess with your hair to much. I just left mine alone and did this for a while. Try palmrolling the lookse strands of hair in if you want, but for some reason palm rolling does jack shit for me except loosen the locks of hair that are trying to form
