well.. 2cb is a phenethylamine and lsd is a tryptamine. I would have to imagine no. I've had no experience with the two sequentially though so I can only speak from my understanding on their mechanisms.
LSD's an ergoloid although it has things in common with both trypamines and phenthylamines. Also tryptamines and phenethylamines do share cross tolerance as they work on the same receptors. A week between trips should see you right though.
i took 2 tabs of LSD one friday night then took 30 mg 2cb saturday afternoon and the trip was quite mild the 2cb may have been degraded a bit though but i think there was some tolerance issue if you are gonna take them one day then the other, take 2cb the first day, acid the 2nd
How were you storing the 2C-B? It's not particularly unstable so I can't imagine it degrading unless you did something dumb, haha. Things like acid and mushrooms do seem to push your psychedelic tolerance up more than light phens like 2C-B for some reason. ...Or, for maximum effect, take both together.
i got the 2cb from a friend that had it for a couple years stored at room temp i think, not airtight i keep my acid and 2ce in mason jars in the fridge, just to be safe
2C-xs are pretty stable, the only one that I know of that you need to be careful with is 2C-B-FLY. So many people leave their's in a wrap, in a drawer, and it turns to brown gloupy crap. LSD you're right to be careful with. It needs to be kept away from light, heat and air.
As a general rule, drugs which share effects will cause cross tolerance to those effects. 2C-B and other phenethylamines cause tolerance to build slowly but it lasts for 1-2 weeks. They can be used a couple of times in a short space of time without massive tolerance build. LSD and tryptamines build tolerance very quickly but it is shortlived, lasting 7-10 days. Dosing repeatedly in a short timeframe requires a significant increase in dose. When psychedelics from different classes are taken they will cause tolerance to each other regardless of class.
