CB Black Rat Snakes Hatching + Parents

Early this summer I caught these two adults in my yard in the same basking area a day apart. Notice the red of the male! The female is almost all black and white. When placed together they hooked up and then gave me 15 eggs. The actual mating is a few posts below. Well all the eggs are now hatched and babies doing great! Many are showing red on their stomachs like the father already. Many on Kingsnake.com say the babies kind of look unusual for a black rat. I've been looking at pics and noticed they do seem a little more black then brownish I've seen in other pics. I was surprised at how large these babies were as well. I was used to seeing newly hatched corns.
