So I really want to be ada wong for halloween, and I don't want to spend the cash to actually buy the costume. Plus I think it would be really cool to make it for myself. But i'm having problems figuring out a pattern...I've searched everywhere online, but i can't find one. Can anyone help me out? Is there a dress out there that has a similar pattern or something? I'm still kind of new at sewing, but I would love to be able to do this. Any help would be amazing! Thanks.
Hmm, Mimi. I would suggest checking out the gown sections of thrift stores. Long classic line gowns are in. Easy to cut the slit side; cut off any sleeves. Take a breath and with some guts, you can try cutting the top to fit your own ta-tas (wire sewn along top to hold shape?); your own halter out of extra fabric cut from the dress. Side decoration can be appliqued on or painted with fabric paint. Gun holster can be felt, leather...fake it and use elastic liberally where it can't be seen. The gun, if a cardboard cutout, can be made to fit the holster for an easy to carry prop. This looks like a fun project. Good luck... or whatever Ada would say! Shoes are easy to copy. lw
Me encanta el outfit de Ada, pero yo he pensado en disfrazarme con el vestido de Deryl Hanna en la pelicula de Blade Runner, me gusta esa estetica futurista-sucia.
as long as you have the long red dress, the black high heeled shoes, and a gun, everyone will know you are Ada Wong assuming they aren't completely retarded and have actually played resident evil 2 and 4
