Tried Poppy Pod Tea for the 1st time last night. 5 pods, 2c hot water, 15min steep and strain thru a coffee filter. Got slightly mellow but nothing like I expected.

Any thoughts as to the Tasmanian Pods? Are they good for tea or not?

Also, I'm wondering if the coffee filter did too good of a job filtering off the good stuff.

    thx

Tasmania is the leading producer of midicinal opium. So yea, I think they would be good to use to get high.

I think just play around with your tea making technique.
You should steep for at least 30 minutes for best results.
Coffee filters are good to use.
Maybe try 6 or 7 pods next time.

7 pods ground fine, 2c water, 5 squirts lemon juice and kept the water below 170F. Used a coffee filter again. Definitely better, I'm 250lbs so probably needed more pods. \
I'll probably try a few more tommorow night but thanks for the support ghost.

the coffee filter absorbed the morphine alkaloid, use a wire tea strainer...

the fact that opioid questions go in the psychedelic section makes me grind my jaw...

but yea, use a mesh filter...the one time i had poppy tea a few years ago that's how it was made...and it worked.

While its not a true psychedelic Ive had visuals on opiates , only cause my doorways have already been propped open by other psychedelics in the past..

in my experience poppy tea can be pretty hardcore, significantly altering and for a long duration.

Tried 12 pods, 3c water, seeds, lemon juice and wire mesh for a filter last night and still just got a little mellow. Fromnm what I've read I shuold still be tanked..I like vicodin but doubt I have a high opiate tolerance. Must be crap pods which sucks because I paid a pretty penny online for them. I'm wondering if the website simply lied and these are US grown pods. I've read that a few of the US strains have very little opium in them. :(

Tried another batch last night same mild result. I've ordered some new ones from a different source. When I get them I'll report back.

Actually Diesel I don't know a lot which is why I asked for help. The site I bought the 1st batch from advertised Tasmanians but they were garbage so I got scammed.

    poppytransplants.com isn't a website that works.
