they're cool concepts, but it bothers me a bit that these somewaht disturbing creatures have symmetrical features.

your shading could use some more deep contrast especially on the elephant. mind your light source.

i see on the green squid he is in front of a sun(light source) in my mind this would silhouette him.

if you weren't wanting criticism. wahtever, i think you have a cool imagination. keep it up.

criticism is what i want and need.. thank u very much.. its funny that i am absolutely aware of whats "not right" in my pieces as i am creating them.. like composition and lighting.i try not to get stuck, so i just let loose..
i have procrastinated on taking select art classes. i believe taking a class would boost the progress of quality in my creations. oh, and also.. i have no clue what type of sun i drew. i dont even think it emits light. haha

    as always dude, very nice

i am curious about the elephant one and what it means to you. It reminds me of Ganesha, but maybe that is because Ganesha is always on my mind, but I don't think that is who this elephant is...and is that a sorcerer's ball in his trunk? What about the yellow tube? You don't have to explain if you'd prefer for the art to speak for itself, but if you'd like to open up I'd be glad to listen.

    always impressive

It's impossible for me to criticize, because this all seems to be one person's vision, and it's unique, so I'm in no position to judge how well these paintings convey the vision. There's a certain sort of (patronizing term coming, sorry) "primitive" style which might be exactly right for what you're trying to get across... but from what you say, it sounds as if this isn't the case. If this feel in the paintings is accidental, a result of not knowing how to do this or that yet, then you're going to want to learn those things and get better at them. Either way, I'd never touch these paintings. they're very cool as they are.

Now I want to know the thoughts of the person behind them better.
