One great thing about living in the free world (the uk) nobody says anything, have been into a few asdas, Uk part of the walmart "family", (though tend to aviod them due to thier anti union policys) without being challenged then again it could be the british thing of being too polite to say anything.
Next time you'll know what to tell her! Having a name from corporate to throw around may stop a greeter like her in her tracks. Also, print out a copy of the letter from your state's HD, education is always a good thing. Who knows, this greeter may be one of those who truly believes she's protecting her store from fines or worse, in which case she'll be okay with your bare feet once she learns that the store is not at risk.
Why the hell does he have to be trolling just because he isn't into the barefoot? He was contributing to the conversation, you discriminatory elitist.
Nice bit of selective quoting there, Duck. (that he himself also quoted only that one line is his doing, not mine). Now try reading the line before that, too. "If you're really interested in barefooting, read some of the other threads about laws, stores etc and you'll see how many places we've looked and how much research we've done. If you're not interested and are only trolling, please go bug people at some other forum." Notice that first line, and also the useage of 'if'? Or did you assume that 'interested in barefooting' is equal to going barefoot himself? -that's your interpretation, not mine, in fact I said in another message that he is more than welcome to wear any footwear he likes. And nice try on the insult, however I know what I wrote, as does anyone else who actually reads my posts, so it missed any ground for truth. Better luck next time.
lol, i went to wal-mart barefoot again yesterday and im gunna google about barefooting here. No one told me anything though cause i had jeans on and my feet were invisible.
Is that supposed to be encoded or just a nonsensical run on sentence? Thank you, I feel blessed. And to think, no one was even trying...
It was the line I was responding to!!! This is all 100% irrelevant. Whether he bartefoots or not - or is interested or not - none of these things matter to if he is a troll. He was contributing to the conversation regardless of his actions or interests. He was not being inflammatory, he was not spamming or posting without value. Do you know what a troll is? Cause if anything, in this thread, I think it fits you much better than him. I stand by my so-called "insults".
D'uh, you were, my point is that you took it out of context. Taken by itself, that line looked like I was telling him he was trolling because he wasn't interested in our topic; taken along with the line before it, it should be clear I said only that *if* he was trolling to please leave, but only then, and I left it quite open that he was not. So be it. If I truly cared what other people thought of me, I couldn't go barefoot in public in the first place. Let's go back to the topic.
Civilized minds are entitled to disagree. Given how lovely going barefoot is, and the extent of nausea it seems to generate in the public sensibility, I'm sorry to see the amount of nastiness brewing here.
I went there today, and walked around for a bit barefoot... first time too... I loved it, and no one said anything
yea i just carried some around with me... another alternative are those shoes/flops that are basically barefoot skins of a sort. http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/ they are called vibrams, and seem pretty cool Apparently they are also vegan-friendly
