Now here's some interesting shizzle. (chronologically speaking, that is) Dude, If you just turned 17 yrs old that would have made you like 8 yrs old when you were last in Mexico on Spring Break. So you were in college when you were 8 and back again at 17? When are you going to finally graduate?:)

What a meandering and pointless thread.

Are most topics on HipForums like this now?

sounds like you've been reading Daniel Pinchbeck? or perhaps not. i'm reading his 2012 book, though i'm not far enough into it to really understand what Quetzalcoatl is all about.

Agree about Mexico still being Mexico. Things can go bad fast down there.

Hey zombiewolf and phishhead - Have either of you backpacked in the Wind Rivers or Beartooths?

I just got back from Mexico, Psychedelic availability is better than US, but the whole decriminalization thing is a crock of shit. It was never ratified and passed into law...

Well, let's just say there was NO overt changes to the way things are down there.

I just found some article that claims there was decriminalization, but the reality is (as the article alludes to) the new law has not really done much in terms of drug use tolerance. That being said, Mexico is x1000 less paranoia than USA.

    http://www.azcentral.com/12news/news/articles/2010/01/10/20100110mex-drugs-CP.html

    http://www.upi.com/Top_News/International/2010/01/10/Drug-decriminalization-in-Mexico-debated/UPI-70371263162749/

One of the articles says: 5 grams weed, 100 milligrams coke and that's it as far as decriminalization goes...
