    Hi guys,

I've been traveling recently and spent a night in a room with bed-bugs, my A$$ has been ...well you know what i mean!

I'm wondering if I have to worry about the bed-bugs traveling back to my apartment with me in my dreads?

Can they / do they live in hair??

If so how can I get rid of them?

    Thanks.

I thought every bed had bed bugs in them?
Thats what aggie says on 'how clean is your house' anyways.
I guess there are different types ,if you could see them crawling about that would be freaky shit, maybe get some nit stuff just to be safe?
I dont even know if they can live on you though tbh but if your worried get someone to check your hair for you.

And you cant get rid of that

All beds have bugs, or more commonly known as "dustmites"

 No bedbugs won't live in your hair. They live in beds and eat the dead skin off you. That's why they're called bed bugs. Head lice will live in your hair. They're found on every bed although washing your bedding regular will keep them at at a miniscule size If you can see them or you can see bites, it's time to wash the sheets.

Yeah every bed has dust mites but I have never slept on a bed with these bed bugs:

Which is probably what he is talking about. Unless you all do have that, then I'd get new beds.

Steam gets rid of them if they're that big. No need to get new mattresses.

you cant get it on your dreads, even body lice cant live on your hair.. they can however be carried from that place to yours.. lices of all sorts can only feed on specific areas.. like, your pets' lice cant live on human head.. especially bugs.. bed bugs living on your head.. they are not even the same genus. hope that helps..

Umm... you guys (except a few) are all wrong. "Bed bugs" can and will bite and can leave you with nasty spots that itch. It can be extremely tedious and expensive to get rid of these things.

I listen to a lot of talk radio and this came up from a number of callers recently. Everyone recommended not even bringing the clothes that were in the infected room home with you. Took one guy 3 months of professional exterminators to get rid of them...huge pain in the ass and can really cause a problem. The thing is, they can get transported back in your hair or clothes, or suite cases.

I would take some precaution here. I have never personally dealt with them just heard about it from people, and now a segment on a talk radio show with callers....so its definitely a real thing.

You know what else is real, face mites. All you dirty hippies have little bugs living in your pores and follicles, but the good news is... so does everyone else. Ohh NOOOOOs demodexed

bed bugs and dust mites are two completely different things. bed bugs leave sores on your skin!

just my 2 cents here - I don't know about them living in your hair but if they do travel in your suitcase to your room- to YOUR bed..u have a problem.... I found this stuff that I LOVE called Diatomaceous Earth - kills everything naturally, is safe for kids, dogs, ingesting and is completely natural. I sprinkle it all through my house and put it on my dogs and all our mattresses. I think the name of the site I got it from was earthworks health, not sure sorry. Good luck though.....
