Just saw Eric Burdon and the Animals in concert with Badfinger as the opener. Badfinger was okay, Eric and the Animals were great!

The concert was originally scheduled for last spring but was moved due to some sickness Eric had.
Now I had seen Eric with War many years ago (maybe 1970) and they were fantastic, but I was amazed at how good Eric still is! His voice is so frigging strong it's unbelievable! The "new" Animals were very good! The whole show was one of the best concerts I've seen, and I've seen a lot.
About 2 hours long with 2 encores.

Let's see, from his 23 albums he did...."When I was Young, House of the Rising Sun, Boom Boom, Don't Let Me BE Misunderstood, Bo Diddly, Monterrey, Devil Run, We Gotta Get Outa This Place...etc."

    Great show.

    Sounds like an awsome show!

    Eric Burdon is the man...

I need to go see him...

I really love ''Boom Boom'', ''Don't Bring Me Down'' and ''When I Was Young'' - three of my many favorites!

I hope he did ''CC Rider'' too!

    :cheers2:

No, no CC Rider, or Spill the Wine, or Sky Pilot.
But he has so many to choose from.
Ever hear his version of Ring of Fire?

    Sounds like a brilliant gig.
I saw The Animals about 5 yrs ago on a British RnB thing that also included Chris Farlowe and Georgie Fame.No Eric though. The lead singer(whoever he was)looked like Meatloaf.:D
