Stoner Annoyances

Smoking is all about technique, and some people are oblivious to it. I'm not made of money, so I'm very efficient when I smoke and I do get annoyed if a person consistently wastes my weed by torching it. I don't really mind explaining to them what they are doing, but at the same time it is annoying because to me it's just common sense.

 

I've had friends who I always threw down dank herb for and they only throw down their brown shwag, and I knew they had uberdanks but they wouldn't ever throw it down. Incidentally these were also the people who only offered Natural Light (which I didn't mind at all. beer is beer to me. although a Newcastle brown ale or IPA is primo).

I never said anything but it's okay to be annoyed by that kinda behavior.

how long do you light it for? i think i might be over-doing it.

 

I hold the flame a little bit away from the bowl and then inhale and the flame will go down for a second then remove the lighter and you shouldn't have to light it again till you pass it if it takes someone awhile to hit it.

it that makes sense im kinda fucked up so disregard anything crazy i may say that doesn't makes sense

 

Haha no that's right. Some people burn so much unnecessary weed lighting the whole bowl when they aren't taking all that smoke into their lungs, or if they do they cough it out instantly. I touch it with the lighter for just a bit and then let it burn itself and use the carb to guide it. Like right now.

oh that's what i do anyways, i light the weed with the end of the flame.

after i get a layer of ash i try to light really far down in the bowl though. that gives me really thick amazing smoke.

 

You might be hitting some resin then.

 

sometimes getting that extra hit of resin can make the high much better imo

I hate it when people act really goofy and loopr and blame it on the high. Like my friends acts stupid and im like dude wtf and hes just like "what im high??" then gets all pissy

 

i hate it when my friends take massive rips out of the bong. they totally know what they are doing too. that's just greedy! i can seriously get almost 5 times as many hits out of a bong as they can.

What is the point of a bong if not to take massive rips , that is why they give you so much surface area, TO USE IT

If its not your weed it's a different story though, then you just take as big of a hit as the person whose weed it is

that's what kills me. when it isn't your weed you should be more considerate. when you take more medium sized hits you get much higher.

haha i guess so. but some of my friends can cash a bowl in a single hit. shit gets annoying.

taking big hits is nice, and can really give you a kicker to blast you off. but you really do get higher if you take more medium sized hits. if it's just me toking down a bong i can get almost 10-20 hits out of a bowl that would get around for like 1 round between 5 people.

plus when everyone else is taking massive hits i have to also take massive hits to keep pace. i prefer to smoke slowly.

 

Well then pack bigger bowls?
Or you can learn how to smoke.

 

i don't think you understand the lung capacity that some of the people i know have. i could do the same thing, but i prefer not to because after a certain point you just aren't getting the maximum efficiency out of your buds.

it's about efficiency, not how big a rip you can take ^_^

edit- you know what else pisses me off? stoners who are overcritical of other stoners. yeah that one really grinds my gears *cough* weeattoes *cough* smoking is about love, not who can be the biggest baddest stoner.

but wasting weed is another beast entirely! fuck that!

 

I agree with you to some extent but if your lungs can hold that much smoke, then go for it. If you fill your lungs, throat and mouth with smoke and can't completely clear the bong then you need to stop torching the motherfucker.
