The Doors!

After The Beatles,The Rolling Stones,The Who,The Byrds,Cream,Yardbirds,Jimi Hendrix Experience,The Kinks,The Small Faces and countless others.

They were pretty good though not my greatest band of all time either.

Ive just never really warmed to them tho I like Break on Through.

 

I like lots of stuff of them but also of lots ofother bands which come across as equally impressive.

 

Yes, I know its kinda weird to make The Doors your favorite band of all time, but its just how I was really introduced to 60's psychedelic rock music. Through The Doors and now since I've learned so much about them, its not just their music that makes me love them. I do have a great passion for the other greats like the Jimmie Hendrix Experience, the beatles, the rolling stones, The Who, CSNY, CCR, Pink Floyd, and Janis Joplin etc..., but The Doors I don't know why they just are the best in my book.

 

I've recently fallen in love with The Doors. The self-titled is an amazing record.

 

I recommend reading some of Jim's poetry outside of the Doors' work. His art transcended so many around him, he's in a league of his own.
