My dad told me some disturbing facts about 9/11. OK, so he has a friend that was in NY on 9/11. He was a mile and a half away and when one of the towers fell it was so loud he thought he was going to die. He said they couldn't find a lot of the firemen and victims bodies because the tumbling rubble acted as a huge meat grinder , crushing them. He also said that when the people would jump off the top, they'd reach terminal velocity, (max speed a human can fall, which is 125mph), and when they hit the ground, it was comparable to a water baloon filled with blood... R.I.P.
Yeah, it was completely disgusting. Now people make a joke about it, but I suspect it's just nervous laughter. Trying to laugh it away. Yeah, nothing like that's ever going to happen again... *rolls eyes* I guess it makes sense -- nothing you can do about it when you can't even be sure who did it.
I saw a very beautiful thing yesterday and I wish I had taken a picture of it. I drove by a local fire station last night and they had their hook and ladder out and the arm was hanging high over the street from their driveway. A huge American Flag was hanging over the street and you should see it from very far away. I was impressed. I also saw a great show, I don't think I can call it documentary, on the History Channel. I don't know what it was called but basicly it was two hours of random footage made by people that worked and lived near the towers. It was together in time order with audio clips of 911 calls and other sound bites of news and radio and other things. There was nothing else just a stream of this for two hours. Very nice.
My uncle worked in an office near them. And when the first plane came, his building was evacuated. But they came back to the building days later and found filing cabinets and other items from the twin towers that had rocketed across into his office.
i have all the respect for those who died and the families, but im personally sick and tired of all the fear mongering that the whole ordeal was meant to conjure up it WAS an inside job and the media's 24/7 broadcasting of it was a propagation of the fear...
I doubt that it was a bona fide "inside job" though I don't discount the possibility either. I'm more than convinced that both the Bush and Clinton administrations were aware of the plot and saw it as a convenient way to minimize opposition to already existing plans to increase our military presence around the rich petroleum reserves. With the proper mix of disinformation the general population will cede more power to the government to keep us safe... and be less likely to question the rationale behind the naked military aggression and blatant violations of international law. Then again the criminal capers perpetrated by the thugs in Washington, D.C. aren't limited to war crimes- they encourage price fixing in the oil industry, allow pharmaceutical giants to blatantly rob people unfortunate enough to need medicine and have for decades ensured that anyone purchasing an American car does not get as efficient a machine as is more than possible... and let's not forget the mother of all larcenies under the heading or "TARP" and "bailout" where unprecedented wealth was redistributed- concentrated in a handful of banking giants- likely in preparation for unifying monetary systems and ultimately governments under a single global entity. 9/11 furnishes a rich supply of propaganda for the powers that be to maintain fear and paranoia among the regular population so they will be far less likely to question the actions of a industrial/military complex that they have been fooled into believing exists to protect their so-called "freedoms"- yet the very crisis around which so many rally is being used as rationale for taking more and more freedoms permanently away.
I don't see why anyone would think it's an inside job, it again goes back to ignoring the route causes of it. Hmm, bunch of pissed of militant muslims would hijack a plane to attack what they call the great satan? Nawwwww
It kind of sucks though, for Nero, and all the other young people, not that I was old when it happened, but they'll never know a pre 9/11 America.

I love the word Sheeple. I use it often. I used it yesterday because I got pulled over for not having my seatbelt on. I mean who the fuck do they think they are. If I don't want to wear my seatbelt, I then I don't think it's their responsibility to try and enforce it. I mean that was the ONLY reason that state cop pulled me over. $55.00 bullshit fine.
Here's the unfunny thing about it: Assume that it really was the muslims in the other part of the world, who 'didn't like our freedom' or whatever shit people say. (Just go with me here) They got what they wanted. They 'won'. And here's how: We lost a majority of our rights, we are greatly inconvenienced, and many live in a constant state of fear, all because some people attacked us. We were attacked, and as a result the people who were supposed to be for us took a great deal of what we had. Now, regardless of who really did it, look into who benifits from it, who earns from it, who gets what they want... That's the part that really pisses me off.
Some kid I knew in middle school's father was killed, he worked in a tower. I was pretty sad 8 years ago, not so much anymore.

trust me, im not the conspiracy theorist nutjob. i just think its sort of funny how the information and clues about 9/11 happening were floating around for a long time and it is still allowed to happen - immediately afterwards our country is on a self-righteous jihad to cleanse the earth of terror - like you said, there will be terrorists. it is only necessary for us to intervene when they are actual threats - yet when they were a HUGE threat our country did nothing.... read up on how the mexican-american war was started and youll notice a similarity it seems like you are neither a truther or a birther but a bitcher :\ you aren't with or near any of the sides but you still want to complain about it
