I'm tempted to take 10 hydrocodone 5/500 at once so I can get a decent opiate high (normally used to oxycodone), but am hesitant due to the high amount of APAP. Does anyone think that taking 5000mg of acetaminophen every now and then can really do any damage to my liver?
that's way too much dude... i can already see the cartoon skull & bones floating over your head. the acetaminophen is a bitch. possible try a cold water extraction. typically i like to think of 2500 mg as a cap, but even thats pushing it.
5000mg at once is bad but wont be that harmfull as long as u dont take that much daily and dont doo a cwe u lose like 25% of the hydro
Thats a little high but it wont hurt you so i'd say yes take them all at once (i would) and if your really worried space them out take 5 then wait and see how u feel, if u feel okay take the rest and break them down so ur takin 2 doses of 2 1/2. but you should be all good. Long term use of that much at one time is VERY bad for you.
5000mg is way too much do be doing per day. Especially if you plan to do it "every now and then". You should look into doing a cold water extraction. that would be best.
Cold water extract 5 pills, then just take the rest whole. It's a split down the middle and your liver will thank you for it. That much at once could shock your liver and once it gets overloaded, an additional enzymatic pathway kicks in which produces the toxicity. At least read up on it on some medical sites first.
Um...plan on waiting several days to see how you feel....You could swallow 20 tylenol for that matter,.....but the symptoms of liver damage/failure generally don't begin for several days after ingestion.
