taking woodstock

    what do the people that were there think of this movie? was it accurate & actaully like the woodstock experience, and did you like it?

    The "redneck establishment" in my town,Butler, Pa., refused to show it because of the drug references,etc.

    It's not really about the Woodstock experience.
    It's more about the experiences of the guy who ran a failing motel, and how he got the Woodstock organizers to set up operations there, prior to the festival.

    A part of the film is about that guy's experiences at the festival, but mostly it takes place around the motel and the town.

    It's a good movie, but it's not specifically about the festival itself.
