Your rant isn't feminist, and IMO that's quite an ignorant thing to claim.
Being realistic and wanting equal rights is not feminist, wanting to hold the father as responsible for an unwanted baby as the mother is not feminist. It's being fair. You made alot of good points in your rant, I'd appreciate seeing pypes write a factual argument rather than just slamming yours.

Gay Marriage - why the fuck isn't it legal now
The Death Penalty - not at all, in reality, no human, no matter what their "position" is in society gets to make the decision whether someone should live or die. Life in prison is good enough.
Prison System - The system in Oz is quite reasonable, can't comment on the rest

 

Gay Marriage - Yes, it should be legal.
Death Penalty - I think that people who commit crimes should spend their life in prison because I think death is much too easy. They should have to suffer with their own thoughts until their natural life finishes. However, I can appreciate that some ppl feel that a life for a life is fair and that makes me think that perhaps the people affected by the crime should be able to choose which punishment the criminal receives. And at any rate, it costs more to put a prisoner to death then it is to let them live out their life in prison.
Prison System - I do not think I have much of an opinion on this one (shock! horror! lol) I do not know enough about our current system but I will bring this back to decriminalizing marijuana. I forget the exact number, but a large number of prisoners are in there for small time drug possession... what a waste of money!

About mandy being feminist... I have no idea why being a feminist is a bad thing. Wanting equal rights is being a feminist... that is all it means. Wanting equal treatment.

death penalty- the appeals system should be eliminated. death immediately after trial

gay marriage: Should be legal. It makes me so sad when I see bumper stickers and banners in peoples yards advocating pro 8. From a civil rights stand point if nothing else it should be legal.
Death penalty: I do not think it should be legal for the mere fact that its still being used as a tool to propogate racial discrimination. I forget the numbers and am too lazy to google em...but the majority of death row inmates are of minority. Especially in the south. Lynchings have been replaced by lethal injection.
Prison system: Tax dollars should go towards reform and not caging our own failures. The recidivism rates are astonishing. Most inmates wind right back into jail upon release because they dont know any better! If your raised by crackheads and taught to hustle from day one then the prison lifestyle is all you know. I think non violent offenders should be taught applicable life skills that will keep them off the streets and turn them into contributing members of society and not locked behind bars and treated like animals. In the long run it would cost less for us tax payers because the recidivism rates would be lower and funds could go towards our public school system instead! Humph...yes I put a lot of thought into this stuff. lol.
