Acid and cigarettes?

I personally have not smoked cigarettes while tripping on acid (I only smoke when I am drinking or stressed), but people around me who are tripping seem to be constantly in need of lighting up. What is the reason for that? Does nicotine add something to the acid trip?

i always chain smoke on acid, even though i normally only smoke like 3-4 cigarettes per day. for me it's just a nervous habit- my cigarette smoking is more to satisfy the need for an activity rather than a nicotine addiction anyway, although it's a bit of both.

cigarette smoking is a very grounding activity in general for smokers, so it's probably mostly a comfort thing. i don't know about any chemical effects of nicotine though, that would be interesting to look into.

 

i chain smoked whenever i was tripping...I turn into some type of news room typewriter who is streesed at his job and smokes ciggeretes while sweating and wearing a green visor...I love drawing pictures lol

I used to chain smoke weed on acid but i quit smoking pot about 5 weeks ago. I had a trip on the weekend, tried a cigarette after having no smoke in my lungs for over a month and i felt so dirty afterward.

That being said i used to really enjoy smoking cigarettes on acid back in the day. I think it just feels good having something to smoke.

 

For me there's just something satisfying about smoking cigs on cid.
The tracers from the ember, and the smoke trails are just extremely entertaining.

 

I don't smoke cigs, but i like to light incense or smoke a blunt for the same reason!

 

I don't smoke cigs either, but sometimes I do like to smoke plenty of pot while on cid. For the most part though if I want 'smoke' visuals I'll light an incense.

 

for a while when i was tripping on a pretty frequent basis, i was also smoking a few cigs a day.... while tripping, i'd either chain smoke or i wouldn't smoke at all. never a conscious decision, it just ended up being what felt right during the trip.
i don't think it has much of anything to do with tripping itself, it's just a personal desire.

I love cigs when tripping. I love the feeling of having something in my lungs (kinda gross to think about sober, lol), and it generally just feels good. Makes it easier for me to go off in my own world, yet calms me at the same time.

 

When you're comparing LSD to nicotine... it's like comparing 1,000,000 to 5.

You might as well.... why not?

It doesn't change anything... but it feels cool, I suppose.

I've stopped smoking, then tripped and been like... does it REALLY even matter?

 

im a big fan of the tobbacco plant, and do smoke when tripping because i find it to be grounding amongst other things.

 

When I smoked while tripping,it seemed like I was sticking a burning 2by 4 in my face.The ridiculousness of sucking on something burning was overwhelming.

 

Almost never smoke. Even when tripping. But recently at a festival, I got some Drums and really smoked a lot...even in the morning. It was nice to consume something other than food or weed sometimes...and they are fun to roll. Something to do.

I don't like smoking cigs when I'm tripping. Lucy shows me what a poison they are. I have nothing against a nice bowl tho

 

chain smoking is something iam going to quit, its disgusting when i think about the amount of toxins that i put into my body,iam gonna start slowing down early.

I smoke because its like hey, you are already tripping why not keep the energy high through your head

Well I like to have something in my hand and something to be doing
cigs taste nasty in my opinion, especially on acid when fruits really taste best but if you are asking if cigs are any better than usual on acid, not in my opinion
