Is there one? Or some kind of substitute. Tonight i spent 12. dollars on Burts Bees body butter because i couldn't stand the thought of animal testing with the usual choices. Is there a natural substitute... some combination of household items? Or perhaps Trader Joes has an ethical alternative? Thanks for any suggestions.
Hey there I like: alba moisturizing cream shave. they have it at healthfood stores, but I found it at a regular grocery store; it was in their "natural products" section, not w/the regular shaving stuff.
Go to Lush. They sell products that are all cruelty and non-organic chemical free. My sister bought me shaving cream from there and it's cool, although it isn't the best shaving cream because the razor doesn't glide too smoothly across my skin.
You don't have to use shaving cream to shave. You can use hair conditioner... And there are plenty of brands that are cruelty free that produce hair conditioner.
I use Avalon Organic's aloe vera shaving cream. It's the best I've found so far, and of course it's cruelty free.
I use Dr. Bronner's soap to shave. It actually works a lot better than most conditioners I've used for the same purpose in the past.
Original Source have brought out a shaving cream now. It's probably not the most ethical of products out there, but it does have a vegan stamp, says it's untested and we have some in our cupboard at the mo
For a while I was just shaving in the shower without any cream. It actually wasn't painful, as I recall... Maybe I'll try it again to see if I can figure out why I need cream.
i JUST bought some today actually normally just use a mix of conditioner/bodywash, but this stuffs great AND cruelty free ^.^ its Trader Joe's brand "moisturizing shave cream" honey mango scent with aloe vera and vitamin E http://www.traderjoesfan.com/Trader_Joes/honey_mango_cream_shave/details/ gotsa little bunny on the back with a (/) over it with tiny words saying cruelty free on the back godly smell to boot, love it and plan to buy from now on
I want to testify here that I have tried the shaving cream that Sobebella has recommended here and it is every thing he says it is. This is a great shaving cream. Wonderful fragrance and excellent lubrication. And, it only takes a very small amount to do the job.
