One of my friends, he's an Asian. A couple of days ago, he went out with a girl in VA. Just for a lunch, maybe, an hour talking?!
After that, he was kind of interested in this girl, and asked my advice. I told him that he should try to contact her since he has her phone number and email address. So he text messaged her and also sent an email to her two days after that date. I ran into him today, he's kind of frustrated, because he's not heard a word from that girl.

It is not polite to ignore people's message in other country, especially, according to what he told me, nothing unpleasant happened during that date. Why couldn't she just tell him "No"?

Ladies, what do you do in this situation?

Yes, that's what I told him to do and he's perfect cool about the situation. The only thing confused him or I am trying to discuss here is, why couldn't she just reply the email and say she's not interested. Just be polite, people from other countries would think we are poor educated.
