Best place to sell my dread beads?

In the past I had some response directly through this subforum, but I dunno if selling stuff through here is kosher anymore (its been a while since I've really surfed the hipforums). I have a ton of really nice wooden beads and polymer beads that are just sitting around. I think there is a subforum on here to sell stuff, but if I recall it doesn't get a whole lot of traffic.

To give you guys a quick update on my life, I'll let you in on why I'm scrambling for every little extra bit of mulah. I graduated summa cum laude from my uni here in the US with a major in political science and a minor in philosophy. I've been accepted into the Masters program in the History of Political Thought in the university of Exeter. While I've been lucky enough to get a full tuition scholarship, I'm still trying to get every bit of extra money I can so I won't starve

Try etsy as above mentioned, or you could always try ebay. I know around here there is a very small farmers market and people sell a lot of crafts there so maybe see if there is something similar in your area.

Someone on here named SmellyD got a site to sell her beads so maybe check something like that out.

 

If you give them to me for free I'll buy some.

I think what I've generally sold them for is 2 dollars shipping, plus 5 bucks a piece. There are pics and info about different kinds in both threads. :cheers2:

Seriously I could go down to the local rock store/headshop and get SICK ass beads for .50 cents each lol.

They have thousands of beads, almost every one of them is under a dollar.

 

These are made from 300 year old heart pine.... each one takes like an hour to make. I'm not trying to push them on anyone, but I can't let these sick ass beads go for quite 50 cents.

I'll be leaving the US to work on my masters in Exeter at the end of September, so if you see any you want let me know and I'll throw them in the suitcase.. that'll be cheaper than shipping them internationally.

 

I have to confess I'm really tempted to make a parody thread about anal beads. Alas, I am a mod, and I suppose that would be irresponsible of me.
