rainbow gathering?

I just read there will be a rainbow gathering in golden bay in late 2009,this is like a dream come true for me and i was wonderig if anyone else had seen anything or is as excited as i am? lol

Don't think so, The Gathering's been succeeded by what's now called Canaan Downs Festival. Kiwiburn looks sweet, I'm thinking about going to Luminate too...

 

I'm traveling to New Zealand sometime in 09. Never been to a rainbow gathering though, what are those all about?

And what is kiwi burn?

 

idk about rainbow, kiwi burn is a nz style burning man festival. It's gaining momentum still, swim is keen to go there and spread a bag of love

 

I understood the site for the Rainbow Gathering 2009-2010 was Taupo on the banks of the Waikato. Is this site confirmed. Is it now Golden Bay or is this something else again. Does anyone know. Thanks.
