I dyed them once before and didn't like it at all. whatever I don't care not like the red looks particularly natural anyway! and joey looks like you're on my side there so I'll take it
soo I got a little crazy and chopped off a dread in back, sewed it to the baby dread that I t&r'd on my fringe a few months ago. It turned out really well and makes me happy I don't have that sad little gimpy dread anymore If I look high it's for good reason.
no, I cut the dread essentially in half, picked it out a bit, and it's still long enough it looks like it just curled up on itself and blunted. plus, I can't even find the damn thing without a mirror. So mission accomplished! No more fringe. still a little bit but not enough for proper bangs. I will try to post more happy smiley pictures I just feel kinda like a goon when I smile in self-portraits. Like omg I am laughing at myself!! cheeeeeese! =P
You really are pretty zilla. It was nice to see that last photo of you. Shows just how pretty you are!
daisy you just made my day, you are absolutely the sweetest! sometimes I don't appreciate my face seeing it every day in the mirror, but yesterday in phys anthro we were going in-depth about genetic mutations and it made me feel so damn lucky to have come out normal and appealing looking!! oh the things we take for granted
Wow zilla, thanks for a great timeline! I'm almost sad I made it to the end and have to wait for new posts, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I love your red dye, your dreadies looked good brown/blonde, but there's just something about red dreads... Luv it! Your natties seem to be coming along very well, and nice work on the fringe Also, might I add that you are SO gorgeous, and your dreads just makes you even hotter. Keep going!
thanks Disruptard, I'm honored to be the subject of your 13th post! welcome, hope to see more of you!
You sure will Starting my own dreads asap, I was determined to go to a salon and get a hair dresser to do them, but... No. The salons here charge like 3000-4000 nok ($500-$660), they put wax and "lock peppa" and whatnot into their customers' hair, and is overall not worth it at all. Since I'm not patient enough to do neglect, I've decided to do backcomb and then let my hair live it's own life. Thinking about making a timeline of my own when I start them, wish me luck!
awesome, good luck! start your timeline after you've been going a couple months and you have some actual results to post it's crazy looking back at mine, they have matured so much and I know they're still transforming. also, you should definitely look into the twist/rip method if you're opting for more natural looking dreads.
lolokay guyz here is a video of my dreads... ohgod yes I am being crazy ha take it as you will. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jH53AYJfU2g
