Hearing your ringtone (phone) while on acid?

This happen to anyone else? I took my first dose yesterday and the whole time I was constantly checking my phone because I kept hearing my ringtone, "Singing in the Rain".

 

Well when I'm dosed up I usually check my phone every half hour or so just to see how much time has elapsed cuz you know how time is so foreign when you're tripping. I usually also use my phone as a measuring stick to see how much I'm tripping cuz I have a samsung touchscreen and theres a pic with clouds over a stretch of road. So if I am tripping nicely the clouds will start moving around like its not just a pic lol.

 

Due to this I change my ringtone on the days when I trip...lmao

 

this does happen to me actually

its like a noise that trys to get my attention so it uses my ringtone then ill check my phone and it wont even be ringing

 

i turn my phone off when im tripping. no need for interruptions

 

I love talking on the phone while I'm tripping, and no matter how hard I'm tripping I'm able to sound completely sober on the phone....although last time I had a 10 minute phonecall with my mom and called her back like 5 minutes later completely forgetting the conversation before...but I realized this before she answered and just hung up lol

 

I dont even know/care where my phone is while im tripping.

 

i had to talk to my mom coming down off shrooms, that was fun. the worst is answering the phone when you're k-holing.

 

I've had something like this happen a couple times. I used to always keep my phone on vibrate and in my pocket at all times. I would imagine that I felt the vibration on my leg and check the phone all the time. I just keep the sound on now.

The ringtone I have however sounds exactly like certain cars do when you lock them. beep-beep-beep-beep I'm always checking my phone in parking lots lol.

 

this phenomenon happens to me when im not tripping

 

i used to come home all loved up on extacy talking like i owned the world, and then one day i came home and it was as if their was shit decorated on the walls in my apartment because thats how i was staring at them and not talking.

The night i came home on acid i remember like it was yesterday, just staring at everything while still sorta tripping...Shrooms i came home really spaced out...I get home stoned every night lol...Being home high is nice

 

I turn my cell of when I trip. There is no need to know what time it is, or how much time elapsed. I tripped with a fella one time who thought it was hilarious how slowly time seemed to go by and would interupt our conversations every few minutes to tell us what time it is. Not fun.

 

reminds me of my last trip, near the end of the peak I decided I was good enough to be infront of my mom without her suspecting im anything other than stoned/drunk, I came home and spent like the last hour of my trip with my mom going to get beer from the beer store. just walking and talking....suuuuuuuuuch an amazing feeling to be tripping HARD infront of your parents without them knowing.

actually, ive even gone to my moms work to get money when I was peaking on acid...then she introduced me to all her co workers and shit and got me dinner so I spent basically the entire peak with my mom talking to her friends and shit and playing pool (waitress)....lol funniest thing was when I shook all her friends hands then gave the black guy props...I'm part black and he knew it so he didnt take offence but it coulda been an awkward situation

 

When I trip, I don't allow phones or clocks. Time is irrelevant at that point.

 

even when my cell phone is off or is miles away from me, i tend to hear it ring when i trip...weird shit

my best friend had that happen all the time, but she lived with her phone, if she didnt have her phone near her, shit would hit the fan

tis crazy, bet its our desire to be wanted?

 

happens to me every fucking time an god damn i hate it. usually i take my phone apart when i trip an put it at opposide sides of the house lol. but sometimes ill hear it even when im not tripping an nothing will be therer it pisses me off

 

I dosed some mushies one night when my parents where suppose to be gone till the next day.... They ended up coming home as the mushies where hitting my like a truck... Ended up having to talk to my mom fro about an hour cause she was mad I had people over. Not fun at all

But to the OP, i too seem to hear my phone ringing even when I just smoke some green.

I like how someone said "its a noise trying to get our attention so we hear it as something familier"

next time cell phone rings during trip, listen and watch, and shut up.
