Hey, I'm in a new jam band, I'm curious to get some feedback from folks as to whether the sound is cool or not. One of our live tracks is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7m3PGqDl3k. I'd appreciate any feedback! Thanks! --Frank Gondo

Hey frank, welcome to the forums. I've listened to the song 3 times through before writing this.

Personally I think you guys have potential. I think you could benefit from singing lessons, or at least practice singing and voice exercises as much as you practice your ax.

You have good skill, but there wasn't much sole, progression, or build-up to your jams. Your songs are what will get you fans, but your jamming is what will make them come out to see you.

Your drummer is good, he used a lot of Improv and kept good timing, and I think you all are pretty tight musically, but thats because you took zero risk.

The first one and a half minutes of the first jam were really good. After that I was sorta confused about what you guys were trying to do.

I really liked the second jam though.

I also liked how the first minute and 40 seconds of the song was minimal and then you added the drums and bass.

I'd like to here more improv from the bass player, he has good skill too.

Over all the song grew on me as I listened to it the 3 times, your sounthern-rockish sound is good, but the jamming needs work.

    Hope this helps.:)

Nice, kinda muley. I'd probably prefer less distortion, but i liked it nonetheless.
