using Aloe Vera for deworming?

So I've got this cat now, who was probably a stray (the same from my previous thread in this forum, if you saw it)
I'm pretty sure he's got worms. We're taking him to the vet pretty soon, but I've already got a lot of aloe growing in my yard and I heard somewhere it's a natural dewormer.
I couldn't find any information online, though, and I was wondering if anyone on here knew.
