Because there's no reason to believe in it. There is zero evidence that any kind of 'spiritual channeling' is possible. The New Age is just a bunch of stories that people believe in with no evidence, because it makes them feel better - not unlike the religions it eschews.

Why not take it for the message instead of bitching about the source?

    Fuck, who needs evidence?

Any rational person needs evidence - that clearly excludes you. There are few philosophies more disgusting than the creed that reality is an illusion, open to alteration by mere whim, that we can believe in anything we want and decide it's the truth, without the need of justifying it. I have spoken to a lot of people who seem to think that there is no such concept as truth, and that anything they dream up that they like the sound of is as valid as truth learned by observation and reason. They seem to think that nothing exists at all, that everything anyone says is true, and all at the same time. They live their lives in a sea of contradictions. I know, because I used to be one of these people, and having gotten out of that mindset, I can certainly attest to just how much it fucks up your perspective on life, and everything else for that matter.

And this, of course, is simply your opinion.

I have always found it amusing that most people opposed to the conspiracy mindset argue just as hard, they too must have something to believe in, their own interpretation of reality. The thing is, though, that one reality has actually been engineered, planned out beforehand. Bare with me...The structure of our society sets the tone for reality as most people know it. Each culture at each different time period in history men/woman were born into REALITY, i.e.the fabric of reality that binds us together on the same plane of existence and time. But each man/woman's mind interpreted reality differently depending on thier environment. This has changed dramatically with the increase in technology such as television, radio, and advertising. For the first time it was simple to control mass opinion. The natural corruption of man would lead some to explore and exploit this new tool in sociology. This has been the case in America for the past 50 years or so. The fabric of reality for most Americans (the masses) has in FACT been engineered. It is known the roles corporations play in media and adveristing. Do you really think it is coincidence that you only hear the same fucking songs on the radio? Any search at a local music store or even online at sites not dedicated to commercial music can find an almost infinite amount of music. So why do we all know the same songs? Do you really think it is a coincidence that most big movies in America, as well as t.v sitcoms and dramas, follow the same basic plots and themes. I understand that this could simply be the string pulling of millionaires around the country, but that in itself resembles a mini-conspiracy. Most people who believe in conspiracies or discuss them are at the very least searching for truth. Those who would willingly accept a reality that is blatantly false are simply the weak minded masses who will always be controlled by those in power. Take your pick... search for the truth and keep your mind open or accept the given, engineered, version of reality. Not to say those are the only two choices... simply walking the simple path and letting all these bullshit thoughts go is another.

Zorba... the path of Truth is desolate and wrought with pain, be strong.

"Conspiracy theory" Term was made up, to stop those who dared actually researching into something and realizeing what the idiot on the news said, had no real basis to what the fact realy is.

Theres an overwhelming amount of people that will take "News" Reporters, Particular Known people or those who just "Sound" as if they realy know what they are talking about, but actualy putting some train of thought into thier speech. Fact is, these people that are hopeing you will believe them, Do not know what they are talking about, and will always say they got it from "X" company, or Some mesh because they will rarely tell the exact person of the source it was derived from.

Obviously the actual "People" that gave these facts out all have a phobia to camera's and the public.
