Never previously got into anal after 23 years of marriage because she had so many of the common anal fears of being dirty and spreading disease (she's unbelievably clean). Got over those concerns by consenting to use a condom (which I still feel is unnecessary after 23 years of total monogamy, but whatever). So, the path was clear and we enjoyed anal maybe 10 times over a couple of months. No entry difficulties; no pain problems; and she actually achieved orgasm several of those times. She gave every indication she was enjoying it, at least no more often than I was asking. Great, I think, but now the train is derailed. After the last time (when she reached orgasm), she complained of having "pressure" in her lower intestine, and she kept complaining for two weeks. As a result, she's back to being scared. She also is back to the fear that her anus will get loose. So, there goes a great part of the variety of our sex life. Any ideas how to respond? Is there any hope at all? Does the condom contribute to such a problem or reduce it?

Not sure about the pressure issue but my wife did ask when we first started regular anal sex what would "happen to her asshole" after lots of anal. This was about 5 years ago and after 4-5 times a week since then shes as good as new as far as we can tell. Its still tight in there and she says it feels good.

I also wondered too about long-term affects? My wife doesnt seem worried though??? I'll ask her!

I showed her this thread and recently asked her about it. She said her asshole seems just fine and hasnt any affects from what she can tell. She joked that shitting was no more or less eventful than before. :)

Every woman is different. Try it without the spermicidal condom, or just go no condom at all next time. See how that works, if there are still issues, then just drop it all together.
