I really liked this movie. We recently had it at the theatre I work at for its 9 week run so far, but lost it last night (Thursday). I'm really sad it's gone, and its inspired me to recommend it to everyone. It was a very interesting movie. Despite myself really being into movies, and even moreso into Bowie, this movie - and the fact that David Bowie's son directed it - completely slipped by my radar. At first, when we recieved it I thought it looked a bit like a 2010 knock off. I'm a sucker for Sci Fi Thrillers though, and can sit through a horrible movie (most of the time, but not the case for Time Traveller's Wife) so I saw it right away. I found out that the reasoning for the talking robot was in a way a catalyst for the plot, and necessary, so it was forgivable. This would be a good movie baked. But I suggest seeing it sober first. One other notable thing was how well the movie suited the song Starman, by David Bowie. I doubt it's on purpose, but you never know.
