    the one thing i would like to know before i die is; there life beyond earth.

    it would probably have to be that big to be detected from here with the technology we have now. even that is quite an advance. being that big, i'd guess it's probably just a gas giant like jupiter. though it could have moons that could support life, or there could be other, more habitable planets in the same system. as has been known to be probably for quite some time. having it confermed, even this much is a cause for jubilation.

    That's wicked cool :p. I wonder when our eyes in the sky will be sharp enough (and lucky enough) to catch a smaller extra solar planatary body.

    I still remember the sensation surrounding discovery of 51 Pegasus back in 1990s, and with each new discovery we can finally begin to understand the complexity and diversity of solar system formation [​IMG]
