I was just wondering if anyone else was like this. I've probably smoked somewhere between a dozen to a pack of cigarettes in my lifetime (different brands btw). Each time, I either felt nothing or on rare occasions developed a headache as a result. In addition, afterwards I never feel any urge to smoke it again. On the flip-side, I love to smoke weed and I definitely feel the effects. I'm not complaining, just curious.
Tobacco sucks, that's why you didn't feel it. There is a noticeable buzz from it, and it can be pleasant at times but other times it has made me feel like complete shit. I actually puked after smoking a cig a couple weekends ago. I rarely smoke tobacco, but was out of weed so I bought a pack of cigs. I ended up smoking 2, and after the second I yakked a couple times and went to bed.
I never got addicted to them though either. But weed I can't stop smokin it...I don't wanna. Cigarettes suck unless you have to smoke it as tip in a joint like amsterdam. If you really want a buzz from them, then smoke a cigarillo that you buy in a 1 filled container or w/e the fancy name is. It gives you a nice headrush.
There's not really any effects besides feeling a little light-headed. Comparing weed to tobacco is apples and oranges. Tobacco doesn't enchance moods or taste or music or anything... it just gives you a little buzz and once you smoke enough you don't even get that really.
I know when I'm in a hurry and smoke fast I can get a little buzz as well. Otherwise I don't feel anything at all either. Cigs are more comparible with a cigar than weed, you don't smoke it for the buzz.
Another difference between weed and tobacco is I find that with tobacco inhalation technique is much more important than with weed. With weed you'll get high even if you're not inhaling properly, just not as high as you would have been. With cigs I remember when I didn't inhale properly, I got absolutely nothing off them.
I'm jealous. I wish I never started smoking tobacco, because now when I smoke weed or eat a large meal, it's all I want.
Tobacco doesn't get you high. You won't notice any positive effects from smoking it until you get addicted. Once you're addicted, it helps a lot to reduce anxiety, to calm you down, to keep your mind/hands busy, to help you fall asleep at night, to help you wake up in the morning, as a subsitute for dessert...
I dont have that problem... i usually get a nicotine buzz, but i also inhale. Usually i take a hit and inhale it and then take another hit and inhale or how ever many hits i can tae without exhaleing and that gets you a great buzz...

i used to feel buzzed as fuck from cigs. they would honestly get me more messed up for a very short time than weed. now i smoke em all the time and feel very little, but i think i should quit or drastically slow down on cigs.
okay, i have to admit, i took the time to further learn the "proper inhalation technique". i googled it... i practiced "using my mouth as a stage", then sucking air through my nose etc. but still no buzz. no anything w/ cigarettes. i even tried hitting my swisher a couple times, before i rolled my blunt up, still nothing. i guess tobacco isn't for us all. but at least i learned some neat-o smoking techniques; all is not lost.
i'm so glad i managed to quit. once i thought i would never get off it. i loved morning buzzes. i quit almost cold turkey, except 3/4 cig over a week (iirc afternoon of the day i quit a few tokes, and the morning of the day after that, and a week later half a cig) after stopping the habit. that was 4 december 2008. i was an avid non smoker before it. now i am just happy to be on this side again ;p
