Can you elaborate on what you consider the double standard, though?

 

It's like what Rubyjessica stated earlier. A girl who is loose and sleeps around a lot often gets labled negatively as a slut, while a guy who does the same more often gets labeled positively as a stud.

People always seem to use the word slut negatively. But for me, the term slut is not negative; whether being used to describe a girl or a guy. In fact, I find many qualities that most would consider to be "slutty" in girls very attractive. I wouldn't want to be with a girl who wasn't at least somewhat of a slut. But that's just me.

 

I've been known to be easy. I'm just a sucker for charmers and physical hotness. It's led me to be less faithful than most people think u should be, but i guess thats a side effect of being "slutty"

I think the point of this thread is that if you don't like sexually charged women: there is something wrong with you.

I always use the term slut in a positive way...I think it is usually girls who use it in a negative way. Some girls sleep around because they are insecure, but some do it because they are liberated.

Guys sleep around because they are horny, period.

Guys who do not like the thought of being with a woman who has slept around a lot are insecure.


This thread has not mentioned gay guys being called sluts, but I don't think it really pertains to the point anyway.
