    I found this website with these old ads from back in the day. I'm very thankful that things are better now than they used to be. My favorite is the ad suggesting the woman douche with Lysol....WTF?

    That's absolutely horrible. I have no idea how that was ever okay.
    Even though I sometimes get nostalgic about "the old days", things like this always put me back into reality. At least I get a level of respect in this era.

    wow... i remember seeing these posted all over my old alternative school... straight from magazines none the less. It's amazing how fucked people are. Gender roles are for people too weak to take care of themeselves... hahaha

    fashion ad's still play around a lot with gender roles. Even ads for toys are affected somewhat. Boys play with trucks. and Girls play dress up. It will always be relevant esp in advertising. But it clearly works, why else would companies be doing it still? Not saying its right, just how it is.
