Inquiry about One-Hitters and Chillums

Hi guys, going to Amsterdam at the end of the month and I'm thinking of getting a souvenir smoking device to remember my trip (pardon the pun).

Basically wondering what is the difference between smoking from a one-hitter or a Chillum. Been reading that holy men from India smoke out of these Chillums and the whole one-hitters are great for concealing.

Questions are:

Are they the same thing? Is a one-hitter basically a small chillum with a dug out for stealth smoking?

Are Chillums by themselves the same size as the normal one hitter or larger?

Which one is more pleasant to smoke out of?

And.....

Which one will get you higher?

The age old question.

I have read that one-hitters dissolve every single morsel of the weed so there is virtually nothing left in the bowl - I like this concept because it means maximum amount of weed in your lungs and no stoned staring into a pile of ash at the end of the pipe wondering if there's any left of its all ash.

The whole stealth aspect isn't too necessary, if a big chillum will get you higher or is more pleasant to smoke out of I would opt for that but if they are pretty much the same thing then I might go for the one hitter.

a one-hitter is not the same as a chillum. The one hitter is meant to look like a cigarette, where as the chillum is meant to be smoked up-right.

I would get a chillum over a one-hitter anyday if stealth is no issue.

So a one hitter and a chillum are essentially the same exact thing the only exception is that a one hitter is exactly that a one hitter so it is very tiny a chillum is more like a regular bowl where you get at least a couple hits out of a full pack although they are generally smaller than most bowls. which one you choose is personal preference the one hitters are nice because they are the most economically friendly of the pieces you lost no smoke whatsoever because you just receive one hit from each pack the only issue is you only receive one hit from each pack so this means you will have to continue packing it until you get high may be a minor issue but it could get a little annoying the chillums are nice traveling pieces not necessarily stealthy pieces but are smaller than bowls so they are not hard to hide also since the chillums are bigger you can generally get prettier looking bowls such as glass chillums or natural stone chillums personally i like chillums they blend convenience and style with conservation and stealth. Normally one hitters are fairly cheep so if you still cant decide get cheepos of both use them and then choose the better one and invest in a nice piece you are proud of and enjoy using good luck with your choice

 

chillum's are dope, but their pretty harsh on your lungs. It's basically smoke to lungs in one fat rip
