Whatever happened to the rule against personal attacks? The OP attacks everyone who disagrees with him (which is basically everyone in this forum) and seems to do everything possible to invite attacks on himself. He seems to have a free pass to make trouble and ignore the guidelines that the rest of us have to follow (usually without complaint). He has yet to make a post that shows one bit of respect for anyone other than himself.

Want to raise a lot of money for HF? Get everyone to contribute a dollar who would like to see this guy booted permanently...or exiled to RT, where we expect to encounter this kind of gratuitous troublemaking.

Yes, free speech means tolerating dissenting opinions, but it doesn't mean meekly tolerating this kind of mean-spirited destruction of civil conversation. HF doesn't need this, not here. It brings out the worst in everybody.

Though i'm not a nudist myself (except around the house and garden) i feel strongly that it should not be banned.
When Hitler came to power, one of the first things he did was ban naturism, which was very popular in Germany at that time, with camps all over the country.
He said it was on "moral" grounds, but the real reason he wanted people clothed at all times was to help him see them as objects, tools, a means to his evil ends.
Is naturism allowed in places like Iran, North Korea or China? No, of course not, it's "immoral", whilst shooting people in the street is ok.
Where there is naturism, there is freedom. Ban it at your peril!

I think this is a case where your basic beliefs are so far from the mindset of habitual users of this forum that there's no chance of either side persuading the other.

Look up dress and modesty standards in the pre-Kinsey United States, you'd be surprised. A male could be arrested and prosecuted for appearing indecent when wearing abbreviated swimming attire, much less a woman. Not that the thought of appearing under-dressed (much less un-dressed) would cross the mind of any decent woman.

Swimming in the nude was the norm even before Kinsey in the usa. swimsuits just weren't practical. you could be arrested for a lot of things depending on your race or gender in the early 1900's
