I can't work out what this confusion is but maybe you have been in the same situation and can offer some advice, I have been going out with the same guy for 3 1/2 years. For nearly a year now ive been texting a male "friend" alm ost everyday just about everything. My relationship is what i would call stable i did however go thru some hard decisions on whether i wanted the relationship or call it quits last summer and it became clear i was what i wanted. Anyway, this male mate well i think aboiut him a lot. he gets girlfriends and they absolutely screw him over. he texts me about all kinds of stuff. Nothing bad like he hasnt tryed to text me up or anything although we have both admitted we think each other is good looking. i have hung out with the guy mate sorta, but he was kind of a jerk. But thru text hes not. If my BF found out (he knows me and guy mate text) we ever just hung out together he would go nuts. I feel kind of trapped because im pretty sure i would like to hang out with guy mate more. Is this normal? i think maybe i shoudlnt hang out with guy mate incase i end up liking him more than i should or should i stop texting/talking guy mate before i get into trouble with BF?? argh
im seriously thinking i need to tone down the guy mate thing and focus on my relationship with my bf before i wreck everything.
