First job interview.

So Ive been job hunting for about 2 months now and finally got a call back from a clothing store called pacsun.

Well they made me "audition" is what they called it. I had to walk around the store striking up conversations with random people i geuss to show that i have social skills and i gotta say it isnt as easy as it sounds.

Well i passed the "audition" and now I have and interview on wednesday at 4.

What the hell do i say at the interview ? I have no idea.

I've never had a job before.

Any advice ?

 

I love that store.
You tell them what they want to hear and answer there questions.
Tell them your a good person, hard working, responsible... blah blah blah.

 

act responsible, friendly, outgoing, say you are very intersted in the job and give any examples of why you are the best for the job.

expalin you are punctual and responsible yadda yadda yadda

i applied to pac sun...i remember that mock interview haha

 

wear a paint on tuxedo and *accidentally* spill water on yourself during the interview

Make sure you can shake a hand properly.

Seriously though, keep it short.
Try not to ramble for too long. Other than that just answer whatever they ask and act like you know what you're doing.

Hmmm...as good as the painted tux sounds i dont think its suitable since the manager is kinda dike-ish.

 

Walk in, sit down, and say "I'm da boss...."

 

God i hate that store. Blacksheep please, when pacsun starts selling matix let me know.

Well can anyone tell me what kinda questions you have been asked or if your in a manager what kinda questions you would ask the person your interviewing.

 

Why do you hate the store ?

 

They will probably ask you a bunch of hypothetical questions such as, "Say a customer is unhappy about his/her service, how would you deal with the situation?" or things along those lines.

 

Ask them what there doing since there down 32% in sales from last year. I'm pretty sure they're in more trouble than Zumies is right now.

Cause i cant stand the clothes and the fact pacsun doesnt sell shoes, well good ones.

details about your work ethic and style
etc

and my only advice is be you.

 

i hate pac sun!

just have a strong handshake and try to relax sometimes its pretty easy to know what people want you to say:cheers2:best of luck kiddo
