Yeah I was wonderin' that too. Makes a gay man (me) scratch both heads (upper & lower). But what the hell, you don't have to like gay folks as long as you don't become abusive toward us and our rights as fellow human beings. Shit, theres a bunch of people I don't like as a group (Xtians) but I respect and would fight for their individual rights. Unless they thought their individual rights included causing harm to others, that is.

 

As long as you remember that gay people are people then it really shouldn't worry you what they do in bed.

There is no research indicating "homophobes" are themselves latent homosexuals. Indeed, there is no such thing as a homophobe, it's just a slangy expression that means whatever the person who uses the word wants it to mean.

I think the worst thing I do is discriminate. If I'm trying to be clear on who a person is, sometimes I'll be like "Oh you mean the gay guy". I don't do it on purpose but I realize it's disrespectful in ways.

 

Do you find guys being attracted to you as harmful? I could understand it being a detraction of your own manliness to be perceived by other men as attractive, certainly. If a picture of two guys hooking up makes you feel defensive rather than repulsed it would probably be along those lines. Being repulsed by the idea I don't find far from a natural inclination, but defensive probably means you're not self-confident to the point of being free of the idea of being made another man's bitch.

 

I like people who are openly gay, they are who they are. It's the people who try and hide it, or bisexuals, that make me feel a bit weird, I just don't get how you could like having sex with a girl, but also like fucking a guy up the ass, I don't understand it.

 

Sex is good. Why rule out 50% of the population?
