Putting a poster like that on your wall- just goes to show that you kno nothing about guevara- and if ya do- that you dont understand his meaning.
you kno that ya can buy guevara cups, pens, bags etc? man- guevara has become a product of the exact thing he fought against.

 

yes I know a lot about che guevara I have done many reports on him and speeches for your information.. I know that he would hate to have all this publicity and have his name on everything and have his picture on everything. He would hate to have all these big companies with loads of money selling a bunch of stuff with his picture or name on it.

 

Then why do you still put his picture up?

It's not ignorant to put up a Che poster, per se. It doesn't show a lack of knowledge of the man's life and message by buying a poster or t-shirt with his face on it. Che believed that people should look to and learn from popular heroes who exemplified socialist ideals. Just because many people who don a Che shirt have no clue doesn't mean that everybody who likes Che is an idiot. Just because a person has a Che poster and can't write an extended treatise on the threat posed to a nation's sovereignty by the influx of foreign capital doesn't mean that person is ignorant.

 

I know that by buying a che poster it's against all he stood for... I know that... I just wanted a che poster. all I did was put a side of my room on here and all of a sudden theirs a big argument and stuff going on,,,

 

I'm not biased to the lft.. I just don't believe in a lot of what the left believe in... It doesn't mean I'm biased to the left.. We just have different views on things that's all... I am growing up... everyone grows up... what makes it sound that I'm not growing up? You just seem very sensitive to this topic and sensitive about someone going against what you believe in. I guess you take things more hard then they really are.

yea- i saw it around a month ago, it was made really well- twas the best movie ive seen this year...

 

Nah its actually not the motorcycle diaries, it's another movie that's in the process of being made just called "che" and it's about his whole life...
