How do cops handle pot in DC, Just poped in the head watching the nats play baseball last time on baseball package.
Just like any large East Coast city if you are a normal middle-class looking white guy you have to practailly kill the president to get the attention of cops in DC. They are too busy fucking with black and brown kids. Never got popped there but spent alot of time partying there. My good friend lives in Adams Morgan and you can walk down the street blazing a joint on a weekend night and not be the only one.
I don't think it has as much to do with race as the image you put out. I'm white and was fairly clean cut for a skateboarder, and have been targeted by dc cops my entire life. I admit they are way more laid back (generally) than cops in the northern va suburbs, but thats oversimplified. adams morgan is practically shoulder to shoulder on weekends with fools that will shank people for their gear, and drunk college kids. they dont have the resources to bust everyone dumb enough to smoke in public, but walk by one and blow it in their direction.. chances are you're busted. my advice in the district is to keep everything out of site and be smart.
