For the past 24 hrs my kidney stones have decided to act up in a really bad way. The pain is almost unbearable, and I start a new job today at 5pm. Ugh... Not sure how I'm going to make it...

I’m guessing it’s a job out of necessity rather than something you really enjoy doing
and the kidney stones are only an excuse :toetap05:

Actually no, I'm very excited about this job. I went to the hospital this morning, and I have sepsis. Which freaked me out cause my mom died of it. They wanted to keep me overnight, but I was unable to find someone to stay with my son. I found someone now, so if my fever gets bad again, I'm going back. And will miss my 2nd day of work :-/

For the record, I held out and made it through my first day of work. Even though I had a fever so high, I felt like my head was cooking.

are you sure they were kidney stones?...I have had them twice and it hurt so bad I needed someone to watch me because I was so delirious with pain..I can't even imagine trying to work..it took all my energy to remember to breathe

Definitely, I have had them 6 times in my life and have had them removed 4 times.
