i was 8, i didnt know what they were, but i saw my mom eat some, so i ate some when she left
with my current knowledge i would say it was maybe an 8th and a half, give or take a little
it was a very good experience, if i didnt get the total ego loss, i wouldve freaked out
i didnt really have an expectations as i had no idea what i was eating lol

i was 14. i had 2 grams. at that point in my life i had taken LSD probably 20 times. i didnt think it was going to be any good. i ate them and laughed for 4 hours. after that experience i started the heavy doses lol

I was 18. I ate an eighth. It exceeded my expectations. It remains my most pleasant trip.

 

yeah first trips seem to have those special qualities that make them almost impossible to exceed

to this day if i even smell mushrooms, it takes me right back to my first trip

 

i was 15 and i ate half an eighth of these amazing mushrooms, till this day i haven't found anything so good.

i already did acid so i was expecting it to be like that

 

I was 18 my first time. I ate about a gram and split the rest of the eighth with my friends. It was actually a pretty cool experience. I laughed a lot, had a very cool body high, and very minimal CEV's. As i was coming down, thoughts were racing through my head haha. Though the next day i felt very amazing. For my first time, I felt like i missed out on a lot and didn't get the true "psychedelic" experience eating a small dose like a did. But none the less it was still awesome! Next time I'm just going to eat a whole a eighth then sit back and enjoy the ride.

 

14 or 15. ate an bout an eighth after school, my friend gave it to me, and i was stoked going into it.

it was terrible, i lost my shit completely, got so scared of the idea of time, and how it only moves forward. the walls were melting. I couldn't handle the fact that i had lost control of my mind, and couldn't think normally.

i called my friend, and he is goofy as fuck, he didn't know i was shrooming, and i was just laughing so hard at how ridiculously funny he was. i hated the idea of any mind altering substances, (thinking "why would you ever want to alter your mind, when it's already so perfect sober.") so i was like "i'm gonna throw away all of my stash." obviously he was like "woah dude why? can i have it." so i watched him smoke all this ganj, until he was unable to hit it anymore because he couldn't stop laughing, and that laughter brought me out of this bad trip, and then we played Nintendo 64 racing games until i came down.

once i came down it was like everything was so clear, and i was so grateful to be alive and sane. everything was beautiful and i just tried to spread my love and ideas to everyone.

then my mom came home later that night and i was being glowy post trippish, and she looked at my eyes and was like "did you trip or something?"

i've lost count of how many times i've tripped since then, but mushrooms are my preferred mind altering substance besides alcohol. until i get around to making DMT, or Ayahuasca. fuck living in california and not being able to grow mushrooms though.

I went into this situation thinking it wasnt going to be as intense as lsd, but i was pleasantly surprised. I had full on colors, saw spiders on my arms and it freaked me out for a split second but then i came to my senses. I was saying some pretty funny far out stuff that i dont quite remember exactly what. This is were it gets weird, for some reason i fell asleep on my bed still full on tripping (I was tired from the night before), i woke up in complete delirium. I didnt know who i was or that i was even tripping for that matter. I guess my step sister put on a movie called "Push" and i happen to wake up to a part with an Asian screeching with my tv so loud i thought my ear drums were going to explode. I ended up falling back asleep because at this point it wasnt enjoyable anymore.

 

13ish, at my cousins. He had already given me two beers, and I was honestly a little hesitant to take the shrooms. Ended up taking two medium caps (prob half a gram, but they were potent shrooms). A little while later, we smoked some weed (first time), and I started tripping. I thought thats just what being high was like and that the shrooms didn't work until I tripped again 5 years later, lol. Played dues ex all night, it was pretty awesome.

I was 15 ate an eighth of cyanescens and it pulverized me, cracked my mind open like a shell and my yolky brain matter was seeping through my fingers. Tried to play some guitar to calm down, which worked fairly well except I had to compensate for how my fingers wriggled like worms.

I've yet to see a day more beautiful than the day you realize your gonna live after such a doomed fate.

I remember looking at how the ceiling would dance like living spagetti noodles and saying;
"I would really love this if I wasn't having such a bad time. "

But I've had beautiful trips since, and it taught me the golden rule: The shroom demands respect.

 

I was 19.

Had 3 decent sized freshly picked caps. I didnt trip out super crazy but was having slight visuals. Very fun and looking forward to eating a lot more next time.

thats how i felt on my first onset of a "bad trip" as well, but that turned it around
i thought if i could be having a good time i might as well, it didnt take long for that realization

and not enough people respect mushrooms
its sad, alot of people ive talked to said that they can kick your ass more than Acid can, yet they eat it without a second of preparation
