fear and loathing

holy shit this movie is frickin crazy. anyone have enough balls to watch it while tripping face? i just watched it sober an it creaped me out but it was good anyones oppinion on this movie

 

it was a awesome movie...The dinosauurs made me laugh, except when all the sexual stuff started happening, i didnt care for it at all.

Also the funniest scene was when johnny depp is in his room and the army guy comes in and starts screaming about war, lmaoo

 

I found the movie pretty boring. If i was tripping while watching it, it would be seconds before my mind would wonder.

 

A friend and I watched it while tripping mescal but the camerawork got to us quick and my GF had to turn it off before we puked. Still, one of my favorite films.

 

i found it very boring the first time i watched it, but i made myself finish it another time and was very pleased. if you can hold out through the more boring parts (the narration is very bland, i dont like hunter s thompson), then you will be treated with some great psychedelic situations and portrayals.

ultimately its just a lulz movie though. watch it once tripping, and then put it away and move on to other things.

Haven't seen the movie (Or movies, I think there is more than one)
but it is generally said that the novel is waayyyyy better.

my dad says the old one is better, it apparently has bill murray in it

i think the newer one wouldve been really cool with brad pitt, hes really good at acting crazy

 

The Bill Murray one was called "Where the Buffalo Roam" and it had nothing to do with Fear and Loathing. I havent seen all of it, but Murray is not the man to play HST......missed it by a mile

If you've ever read any HST, you would know that Depp nailed that part.....fuckin NAILED it. I can't see anyone else playing him.

ive seen on LSD once. i loved it. the first time i watched it i was doing k. freaked me out a little bit. but ide do it again haha

 

One of my top films. Seen it on LSD, and it was crazy.

 

Saw it on shrooms and it was crazy. the carny scene was pretty intense for me tho, I was peaking and already dislike clowns and shit, but still a fun movie to watch while tripping.

but i've seen it sober, and read the book. I wanna try seeing it on acid tho that would be crazy.
