my smokin device has been a sobe bong and I made a hole in the cap and i'm using a socket for the bowl... now since theres a hole on the bottom of the socket and in the cap, I twirled up a paperclip for a screen so when I load it, it doesn't fall through. now i'm just wondering is it bad to be using the paperclip i'm guessing cause of the metal and smoke?
depends on what teh paperclip is made out of i suppose. but dude, i'm pretty experienced with socket bowls, (because i'm a cheap gheto bastard), and i've only had to use a screen once, and that's because i had shake. just shove a chunk in, and then put what you're gonna smoke on top of it, and try not to smoke that chunk,. it'll burn eventually and leave enough resin. well. if you don't plan on using it that much, try a small pebble.
I tried putting a small rock in the bowl for a screen, however i noticed whenever I do it this way I get very very little smoke. I think it's just time for me to buy a real bong instead... lol. man i tried using my crutch for a screen and i put the nug in and lit the bowl and i noticed that it was Overwhelming with smoke when I removed the cap and I inhaled it to just realize that I was inhaling the smoke from the BURNING PAPER! shit epic fail!! Wasted that. Also when I tried smoking before I put the nug in the bowl and the ROCK FELL THROUGH the bottom hole!! frick!! wasted my nug, fell right through into the water. So I just put my Twirled Up Paper clip back in and did it this way again and got me blazed.
