Natuirism and Marijuana?

In the fall I occasionally like to get a little stoned and wander around the trails on my property. I was wondering what the nudist community's view on marijuana is. I know resorts have no tolerance polices towards drugs, but I'm curious about when your alone or on private property. Not in a family setting.

Do any of you like to indulge in a little reefer and then go on a naturist excursion?

Really though, I think it'll be mixed responses. I don't think there'd be much of a correllation, no moreso than other parts of a hippy site anyway. I may be wrong
Personally I don't use any drugs but I have a light attitude with marijuana, doesn't bother me

 

Well, the nudist communityTM, as in: the organized nudists would most probably scold a member (no pun intended) of theirs, should (s)he roll one and light up on their premises (such as resorts, as you wrote)... I'm sure this would apply especially in the motherland of organized people: Germany (you know, they say, that if three Germans meet, they play cards and if four Germans meet, they found a club...)

When thinking of the non-organzied nudist community here, I guess the replies will mostly range from benign tolerance to outright "Hell, yeah!"-enthusiasm. I, myself, am somewhere in the middle. I don't think of marijuana as the often demonized starter drug into a heavy drug using career - that is, if it's used in a considerate way.

Very much so! My personal experience is, that while the mind and spirit go wandering when being loaded, the tactile sensations are enhanced, too... even walking barefoot with a load becomes an expanded senses experience. And being nude, feeling the wind and/or water flow around your body... delightful.

The two are largely unconnected, and in most naturist places even with outdoor spaces you'd be asked to leave. There's more of a connection between drink and nudity, such as skinny dipping in the middle of the night.

 

I am interested in your question as I am also a nudist who used to like to smoke a joint. When I lived in Holland during the 1990s, marijuana would sometimes give me a tingling feeling all over my body, which would give me a really ecstatic feeling when swimming nude in the pool of a sauna in the outskirts of Amsterdam. I would be interested to know if anyone has had a similar experience.

I would love to have milder weather now, to repeat that outdoors, too. At least I was able to have a barefoot stroll through a mall yesterday, loaded.

What, prey tell, has pot got to do with naturism? I cannot see a connection at all, even though I attend alternative lifestyle festivals (Confest, here in Australia) where clothed hippies are regularly stoned, but naturists? Never seen any pot-headed naturists.

 

Since naturism is also about feeling the world and Mother Nature around oneself with all senses, cannabis can act as a catalyst to enhance those senses, intensifiying the experience.

I know from barefooting, that the tactile sense is increased and also the feeling of temperature changes a little, too, when air flows around my nude body after having a smoke.

I'm not advocating the general "all of those nude people should try it!" but there is something to enhancing the naturist experience the herbal way, IMO (and clearly: I M O as in: this is merely my opinion... just making sure not to preach, but just to present a personal POV).

I get your point, Ganesha, as I enjoy burning Purple Haze and Hard'n incence when naked. Plus a bit of sherry on the side. I spend a lot of time as a First Aid volunteer at Confest repairing nasty foot injuries from barefoot followers. Nudists are extremely rarely treated, though last Christmas I did treat a guy for a sting to his little fella and bandaged it up. Comical but effective ... until he got a woody when everything unravelled even more comically. <sigh>

 

My experience is that modern day hippies sometimes termed Rainbows tolerate both nudity and dope smoking. A good friend of mine is fairly typicial. He smokes dope occasionally and has an active interest in nudity. He is a nude art model, a Free Beach Group member, and gets naked at Rainbow gatherings and similar counter-culture festivals.

 

^ He sounds like a carbon copy of me. The crucial difference being that I enjoy burning incense — heaps of it, not pot. With a little sherry on the side. I like getting carried away in the rainforest...

 

With some males marijuana has an aphrodesiac quality, so the point could read naturism, marijuana and an erection.

 

That can happen, indeed... but it's not a must.

Some people don't like pot. Stands to reason that they would not like being naked on pot. Some love pot. Stands to reason they'd also love being naked on pot.

You're asking for a consensus on what naked people must think of pot? Like an official statement from the world council of nakedness?

 

Nakedness and 420 go together like baseball and hot dogs.
