Is it true that you are an attention deprived moron simply trying to annoy the people you don't understand?

well, he was more of an agnostic anyways... here, a brief histroy of the unitarian/universalist church, mmmkay? http://fl.essortment.com/historyunitaria_rmrn.htm ("liberal" christianity, so-called...)
so..... why did the christians get upset when some a unitarian family moved into the neighborhood? the christians didn't like to hear folks praying "to whom it may concern"... heh...

rebellion? or the first steps towards deism & secular humanism & agnosticism & "godless atheism" (i wonder if there exists somewhere a version of "god-full athesim".......... naaaah...) i wonder about a lot of things, i suppose... do you ever wonder about things? do you ever wonder if the universe is put together in ways that can't be fully explained by poring over passages in a 2000-year old religious text? i wonder about people who do not realize that for a myth to work in our lives, it is not absolutely neccessary that all portions of our mythos are absolutely factual/historical... (from "the power of myth" - a PBS TV series with bill moyers interviewing joseph campbell -----> moyers: do you mean to tell me that everyone in the world who prays, is in fact praying to a metaphor? campbell: of course, how else? mmmmmkay?)
the "to whom it may concern" bit is a JOKE dearie, mmmkay? (my dear dad used to tell unitarian jokes, mmkay?) hell, even alan watts used to tell unitarian jokes... & garrison keillor too... good ol' lake wobegone minnesota...
"there is more than one denomination" yep... but most "christian churches" (see: world council of churches; trinitarian christianity: national council of churches; mainstream christianity", etc.) would tend to reject unitarians as "not really being christian" if'n ya know whatta mean ya know whatta mean?
here's another one (heard it on "the prairie home companion" a week ago saturday): "the unitarian society will be having bible study tonight at 7:30... be sure to bring your bibles and your scissors..." get it? bring your scissors? heh...
